Ive played French horn in the past year was a difficult year.that so my teacher told me that I should start with the game since September trumpet.ive, I know all the notes, but it's difficult to play in too fast for me to work on it. My hearing is May 4 January in advance, so I was nervous. Do you think your possible.Is any other person in a group like that where travel in the summer tour?

It really depends on where you live. In my area, each band-related things are very competitive (I live in the region more competitive in one of the bands most competitive states in the U.S.). So, where I live, or in a hearing with an instrument that I have only one year would be very difficult. Patient progress will also depend on how judges are calling for competition and how to hear this band.
I suggest to find a private teacher (if applies to the teacher who was just a music director or whatever help whatsoever) to use the way we touch the instrument. In addition, listen to music, waaaay slow and learn all the notes and rhythms first. If your hearing is not until January, learning music at a comfortable pace and speed a little bit better each week will begin where it should be, and the music will put a lot cleaner and the line than when they tried to play fast from the beginning (and the judges love her music cleaning). If you can not play very well aware, then no. The judges are impressed, as a rule, if he will play one song at a pace so slow that if you happen to play on a faster one can. Im not a group trip, but I did marching band for several years (I played the trumpet and alto sax). I began playing the saxophone, but my 10th Year I took trumpet port. Leaving France for the trumpet is more difficult, Division wise, big and clean and play the trumpet is a very difficult and time consuming, as the player (it took me 3 years to share about Bb Eb conerct the personal concert upstairs, I'm some practical decisions, and my pride wouldnt Let Me Fall behind the chair of the 1st, who was my best friend and rival)
It depends on whether the group will come, but u should all try to be a good learning experience. Im not sure if u'll go, however, only depends on the reader. How do you know french horn, I would recommend U-test Mellophone (French horn) at the top, it seems intuitive "on the trumpet, but it's easier to play (in my opinion after playing Mellophone Trumpet, I can still octave higher Mellophone Trumpet, in which barely)
